Support
Do I need an account?
Not to get started: add your own translation service in the extension and you can look words up. Review, sync and pronunciation need your library connected, and creating an account is free.
What is an invite code for?
It records who invited you. Add it when you create your account, or later in Settings → Invite.
What happens when my usage runs out?
Passages, pages and text switch to machine translation and article context pauses; looking up words and their pronunciation carry on. The Usage page in the web app’s settings shows how much you’ve used and when it starts over.
Where is my own API key stored?
Only in the extension in this browser. It’s never uploaded.
Can I review offline?
Yes. Answers are saved on this device first and sync once you’re back online.
Can I save phrases?
Yes, including split phrases like look … up. A phrase gets its own entry.
What if the translation service can’t be reached?
Save the word anyway. The meaning is filled in once the service is back, and nothing is lost.
Can it translate a whole page?
Yes. Paragraphs or whole pages — original only, translation only, or side by side.
What language are meanings written in?
Your primary language. When that’s the language you’re learning, you get a simple explanation in that language.
How do I delete my account?
In Settings → Account. Your library and connected extensions are deleted with it, and this can’t be undone.
